Article 1. Image information processing equipment installation and its purpose.

UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort installs and operates information processing equipment for the following purposes in accordance with Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

1. - Facility safety and fire prevention
2. - Crime prevention for the safety of customers

※ For parking lots with a capacity exceeding 30 cars, the equipment can be installed and operated based on Article 6 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Parking Lot Act.

In order to protect your video information and handle complaints related to personal video information, the Company employs a Personal Video Information Protection Manager as follows.

Article 4. Consigned handling of video information processing equipment

In order to implement the UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort services, we consign the handling of video information processing equipment as provided below. In accordance with the related laws, we enact necessary matters to make sure that personal information is safely managed in the consignment contract.

Article 5. Video information filming time, storage period, storage location and processing method

Processing methods: requests for non-purpose use of personal video information, release to third-parties, destruction, and reading are recorded and permanently deleted (crushed or incinerated if it is printed material) in a way that cannot be restored upon the expiration of the storage period.

Article 6. Matters Regarding Personal Video Information Location and Verification Method

1. The operator of the video information processing equipment shall not use personal video information for purposes other than those for which it was collected or provide it to third parties, except for the following cases. However, clauses 5 through 9 shall be limited to the case of public institutions.

   When personal video information is provided in a form that does not allow the identification of specific individuals as necessary material for statistics, academic research, etc.

   If personal video information is not used for purposes other than those for which it was collected and is not provided to a third party, it may not be able to carry out its duties under other laws. If it has been deliberated and resolved by the Protection Committee,

   When required to disclose to foreign governments or international organizations under treaties and international agreements.

   When necessary for the investigation of crimes and the filing and maintenance of suits

Article 7. Measures related to video information view requests from information subjects

You can contact the operator of the video information processing equipment at any time if you wish to view or confirm the existence of or delete personal video information. However, it is limited to the personal video information that features you, and the requested measures must have a clear benefit for information regarding the subject's life, health and property. UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort will take the necessary measures without delay in response to requests to view, confirm the existence of or delete personal video information.

Article 8. Measures to ensure the safety of video information

Video information processed by UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort is securely managed through encryption. In addition, UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort implements administrative measures to protect personal video information, and grants different levels of access to personal information. The date and time of personal video information creation, view date & time, viewers, and purpose of viewing are recorded and managed in order to prevent forgery and falsification. In addition, a lock is installed to ensure the safe physical storage of personal video information.

Article 9. Privacy Policy Modification

This video information processing device operation and management policy was enacted on September 19, 2014. Any additions, deletions and modifications in the wake of the modification of laws, policies or changes in security technology shall be announced no later than 7 days prior to the implementation through the UTOP Marina Hotel & Resort website, along with the reasons behind such modifications.
